Flight back to BG was delayed last night - airport was closed due to too much snow. Finally got to Bansko at 5.30am this morning.
Was worth it though - woke up to sunshine and blue skies and about a meter of fresh powder.
Right, I've had lunch - back to the fluffy stuff.

Just a quick question guys, heading out to Bansko in a few weeks and wondered what was the best thing to do about money. I went to Borovets a few years ago and took Lev, but I have read on a few forums about people using £ or $ as the Bulgarian currency is so worthless.
Any advice?
Thanks in advance
Ray

Some hotels and taxi's for long distances will take Euros but leva are your best bet - most places will only take Leva. You get better exchange rates in the Bulgarian banks than you do in the UK.
