Anyone out to Banff , looking for a reasonable travel company to use . Looked at crystal ski and inghams online and they are coming up very expensive.

Went with American ski classic and it came in at 1600 quid for 2 weeks with early bird discount. I'd get moving as that may end soon. DIY is an option too and quite cost effective but not at my pc until Friday to help further.

American ski classics will sell you lift passes & ski hire. They will also do the accommodation and / or flights.
Avoid UK school half-term hol and Alberta ‘Family Day’ if possible. You can DIY flights but check board carriage prices. BA and Air Canada will include board as your one piece of baggage. Transfers are quite expensive and car hire might be better with a group. In theory you need to buy a National Park pass when you enter near Canmore. If you just park in Banff for the week it’s ok but they check passes on the way to the slopes. If you have a bus transfer you avoid this and you don’t really need a car unless you plan going beyond Lake Louise.

Postscript...

Having just looked at options for my own trip to Banff, I have found that ba have stopped flying there. Competition from Westjet perhaps but that does not bode well for prices.

I flew with BA earlier this year (March) direct flights Heathrow to Calgary. Have they stopped doing this route ?

Air Canada also have direct flights out of Heathrow, and include free snowboard carriage, price wise they were the same as BA.
