hey !!! anyone been to mayrhofen in early april???? i'm thinking of going but i'm afraid of the snowing conditions at that time of the year...if anyone has any information plz let me know..

I went last year in Mid March, and it was still snowing plenty, and there was more than enough on the mountain. Should be fine. Either way you still have the glacier nearby which will always have snow.

I've been in the Hof for Snowbombing every April for years, and the last couple of years the snow's been great. Two years back it puked for a good few days, and I was riding waist-deep freshies up on the Tux glacier

As RobA says Snowbombing is takes over the resort in early April, 5th-10th this year. I'm pretty sure the season ends after snowbombing, the 11th April this year.

by way of an update on this, i was there last week and there was plenty of snow. i also notice that there is some new snow forecast for this week.

I think you are safe enough certainly until mid April, think things start to die down pretty quickly after that.
