Sweet. Might have to buy this seasons batch from them once Bikecar is released.
Glad Brandon is doing well. |

Hey, mine arrived sometime last week (I was on holiday, and it was there waiting for me). So it was definitely less than two weeks - maybe only a week.
As it happens, optigrab is _the_ film that I was looking for, so thanks for the help guys.
It's a cool film - all of the bits that I remembered came after the credits, in the kind-of extras section. Really good!

Hopefully it's back to the standard of Pop and Saturation. Thought Futureproof was boring compared to them, the music just didn't compare. Good to see a free cd of Scott Sullivan's work as well. Got his 2 albums and love em. |

Are they tracks from the first 2 albums FB, or anything new? More looks like the film of the season for me but I can't afford it, and Santa's already got a huge list I'll be glad when it comes free with Whitelines next season though..! |

Man that's weird, I thought the Futureproof was a lot better than Pop... I'm gonna have to go back and check Pop out, just in case I'm missing some really good stuff! |

Absinthe films have always had a good mix of riding. I felt Futureproof didn't have the feel of the last few movies as there was little variation in riding areas. They mainly hit backcountry booters and AK lines. The music choice was also bizarre. More is back on track. They have a good mix of riding from AK lines, backcountry booters, rails and man made jibs, especially with riders like Justin Bennee, Mickey LeBlanc and MFM. Travis Rice is also back. In the past I liked the way they made use of manmade areas, like the use of the dam in Saturation. The test was that I couldn't wait to stick my board on and ride. On the dvd was 'flipside' which showed the making of Futureproof. I enjoyed this so may give it another viewing just to check.
Fowler - the Scott Sullivan cd has songs from The Great Manifestiny, Crushwater Symphony and 3 demos from his next album, which says should be released early 2007. There is also a music video for Seatown in the extras. Would like to see Whitelines interview him about his photography and music. |
