I've only ever been to the seminars, but this time i'd like to demo some stuff and try the kicker session.

Are the kicker and rail sessions only for people who can do it already to some extent?

I was told that everyone could already at least boardslide at the Burton camp, so i'm glad I didn't go to that.

I have been to the cas one since its inception , well worth going to , you can chat and hang with fellow boards , try new boards/ bindings etc and have free coaching from snowboardcoach ppl , just need to pay for slope time .....make sure you get there early to book your coaching slot though

have fun and keep your credit card in ya pocket too .....always costs me a fortune

Yeah, i was planning o trying to fit in some demos, mountain safety, board servicing and the kicker session. If snowboardcoach is gonna be Ash I might do it. Otherwise I might just try a board with a rocker,or something.

I think the kicker will be my priority cos I should be able to grab and stomp 1s and 3s every time by now. It's a disgrace

Hey dude - I'm heading up for the day if you fancy saying hello! Should be a good craic looking forward to demoing a few boards and going to a few seminars!

Also, I created a Facebook group for Tamworth shredders to arrange sessions: The Lonely Snowboarder

I went up last year but ran out of time.

I found it really useful in terms of trying new setups out and swapping bindings over from board to board.

I'm heading up this year too. Maybe see you there.

Has anyone tried the on-slope teaching, though? Not the snowboard-coach stuff cos I know that'll be good. Just the other things like the kicker or rail sessions.

I'd have probably given that fitness for snowboarding thing a go if it wasn't women only.
