Hi guys,
I'm just asking what the age limit, if there is one, on the BASI level 1 instructor course. I'm wanting to attend one later this year or the start of next, But looking on there website they don't have any information.

I think you have to be 18 to obtain your licence. There is no upper age limit from what I gather, you just have to be honest with your ability to teach. |

16 is the minimum age to do the level 1 course. I know because my son's wanting to do it, but he's got a few years to wait yet.  |

Under SNSC you could do the course at 16, but not get your licence til 18. Have BASI lowered the age? |

I don't know the background. On the BASI site, under Snowboard Level 1 Instructor Qualification, it mentions the 16 years age requirement as a pre-requisite for the course (although interestingly, no age restriction is given for Alpine lv 1). I can't see any mention of a further age restriction for getting the licence although that doesn't mean there isn't one. |

The minimum age for BASI L1 is 16, there is no upper limit.
