They served me well and are very very comfortable. I hear the Dainese are good too but they seem overly bulky and very expensive. Either way, they all do the same thing so it's a matter of preference.

ha! of course they do! - seeing as their product doesn't have any. The hard plastic layers on the Burton Impact shorts saved my hips something chronic!

[/QUOTE Weirdly when I used to race motocross the hard plastic parts used to save injury by deflecting flying stones,I have know and love them dont care if they are the best its horses for courses and they give me the protection I require if you can get that level of protection by sticking a copy of whitelines down your kegs then you have saved yourself a few quid

I used to have the dainesee impact shorts but swapped over to some Demon ones a few seasons back and haven't changed since there super soft add a nice layer to keep you warm aswell as the impact protection
