That'd be because I grew up in East London and worked in the City for 5yrs before escaping to colder climates........... Innit!

Go for three days..... Just not all to the Freeze..... Shopping, Sightseeing, Drinking, etc, etc, etc.....

Thought you may find it useful to know that you can save a few quid on your ticket price by using the code FRE40 when you buy your tickets

You get them here - Freeze Festival Tickets

As for accommodation, Stay out of town and get a tube in. I think it was Vauxhall I got off at last year and then its just a 15 min walk or £2 on the Bus!
