Following on from the well received reviews and Q+A with Product Development Manager Vince Sanders we received a bunch of profiles of the men behind Never Summer. From the Owners Tim and Tracey Canaday to the cut and sidewall finisher Dom Maxey, we get an insight into the men behind the brand. Most of the guys are pictured with custom boards, many they have handmade themselves. GONEboarding also have a shot of owner Tim with a 2012/13 base graphic. |

Name: Mike “Gags” Gagliardi
Job Description: Snow Sales Manager
Interesting Tidbit: Know as “Gags” since the third grade, Mike cut and set up his custom No Board out of an 2010/11 F1 Premier.

Interesting Tidbit: Adam’s top-sheet is a satellite image of Keystone Mountain, one of his favorite places to ride.

Interesting Tidbit: Derek is an American Indian and the wolf, peace pipe and tomahawk hand cut out for his base represent the Pawnee Tribal Seal. He is also a champion Pow Wow dancer.

Interesting Tidbit: Not only does Micah handle the production schedule (which is job in itself) but also our raw materials purchasing. He also enjoys special projects for alcohol companies. “ Hey Mizza, we need more of that there glow off the snow P-Tex and some Carbonium”!

Interesting Tidbit: After getting a personal tour from owner Tracey Canaday. TC noticed his Kareem Abdul-Jabbar like wingspan and immediately thought “side edge grinder”. Dom left with a job and later his custom Carbonium Heritage test board.

Interesting Tidbit: Bentley along with his brother Justin built 135 splitboards over the course of 12 years as a side project. They continue this legacy by designing cutting, mounting and finishing all of our factory splits. Bentley enjoys kiteboarding in his free time.

Interesting Tidbit: Artist and air brusher Justin built this custom when the Denver Broncos won the Super Bowl back in 1997. Around the same time Juice started charging Vail’s Back Bowls.

Interesting Tidbit: Coming to NS from working at snowboard shops in Bozeman, MT. Donny an avid rock climber found inspiration for his custom F1 top-sheet graphic from his tattoos.

Interesting Tidbit: Jose is one of the best techs in the nation if not the world, has done thousands of repairs for our loyal customers. He built this custom Evo Grom 130 for his nephew.

Interesting Tidbit: The only corn Kansas is harvesting now is our spring snow. Steve’s custom Heritage was the inspiration for a future limited run of boards for one of our flagship retailers.
