Ride-to-the-door chalet Edelweiss sleeps 13 in 5 bedrooms. Backing onto the pistes, Edelweiss is only a 5 minute walk from the bars and shops of the resort centre and our 'local' is an awesome après-ski bar with live bands etc.
We aim our holidays specifically at groups of mates in their 20's and 30's, being that age ourselves, and have a few things that you might like that you don't get with other chalet companies - free beers and sandwiches on the airport transfer, free toffee vodka, free Wi-Fi, a Nintendo Wii, heaps of snowboard DVDs, a hammock and deckchairs on the balcony for sunset beers and so on... We know what you want on holiday because we’re just like you.
All of our holidays are available to pay in interest free instalments prior to your holiday starting and if you are part of a group, we email everyone in your group directly to gather requirements re lift passes, lessons, hire equipment, dietary requirements etc. We make a personalised payment plan for each group member, everyone can pay individually and we send individual receipts – no work needed to be done by group leader! |

Edelweiss is less than 50 metres to the nearest lift, backing on to the nearest piste and a 5 minute walk to the resort centre with all of its shops / bars etc.
La Rosiere has one of the best snow and sunshine records in the Alps but the greatest thing about the resort is the lack of queues and crowded pistes, even during peak weeks you’ll never have to queue for a lift and for the majority of the season you’ll feel like you have the wide open red and blue runs all to yourself. There is a Boardercross track, a park and some great off piste. There is over 150km of pistes connecting the French resorts of La Rosiere and Les Eucherts and the Italian resort of La Thuile and we’re at 1850m so there is always loads of snow. La Rosiere is also the only resort in the Tarentaise to be able to offer heli-boarding.
We could never, of course, have chosen a resort without any nightlife. There are some awesome local bars with dance-on-the-table après, band nights, live DJs playing on terraces and fancy dress parties. Purely for the purpose of research for you guys, the Bura crew have explored all of the local bars extensively and we are more than happy to provide you with our ‘bar guiding’ service – just another part of our professional responsibilities! |

| Edelweiss has its 5 bedrooms spread over 3 floors with a good mix of double & group rooms, a huge living / dining area with double doors opening onto a sunny balcony. We like to make life super-easy for you – we can have your lift passes waiting for you upon arrival, we take you to the hire shop if you need gear and we take you to the lesson meeting point on your first day if you want some tuition. We also provide massively discounted airport transfers (only £25pp return from Geneva or Chambery) and offer free guiding of all of the ski areas best runs. |
