Great game. Long courses, alright music (although just ever so slightly samey after a while) and if you get dressed into you snowboarding gear and rig up a fan and the freezer - it's EXACTLY like the real thing*

I was starting to get a bit fed up with SSX Tricky because it was far too cartoony and the courses just didn't reflect my riding preferences - too much freestyle to be honest.
Was a bit of a relief when this came along - the courses are laid out better and are infinitely longer - spread out over 3 peaks, it's very much in the style of THPS4 where you ride around until you find a challenge to do. Unfortunately you can't complete the game by doing just freeride challenges, but for some reason I seem to be better at freestyle stuff anyway.
For me it's the freeride sections that make it - the freestyle sections are unrealistic granted, but the freeride bits are as real as you'd want them to be. Ok so you don't often ride through mountain ice caverns with stalactites falling on you but hey...
Great feel for the snow conditions - in powder your board feels less reactive but great when you carve, while on ice the controls feel skittish and jittery. Wicked.
At the end of the day, maybe I'd like something more realistic, but if it keeps me occupied when I'm waiting for the snow it's got to be a good thing. |

| this game is clearly aimed at a young audience, i found it irritating to play with really bad music and annoying competitors making dumb comments while you board. The uber tricks are obviously ridiculous and it all seems just too far fetched. Its just too cartoony for my liking. |

First time I played. I thought its was totally crap. not enough jibbing and air grab trick was too advanced and I havent seen it in real life yet (I guess that what game about!).
But I played it for 50hours and I realised its quite good. You have to control the balance of skills. That meaning Dont spent too much money on improving of skills.
Baiscally I put more skill of balance and toughness and keep low speed and spin. Then you will able to see great style of tricks! (that only if you know how to play proplerly heh heh) |

| Its quite massive with 3 peaks of mountion. Races tracks is really good. Slopestyles tracks is pretty good. Superpipe is not bad but not brillent as old game 1080. Big Air tracks is very nice. |

| Good game, same engine as previous versions. New players,lots of courses to explore. Many playing modes such as career where you open new levels,boards and clothes. Astonishing graphics especially the environment. Music well accompanies riding.Pretty much a good buy especially for freeride/freestyle lovers. |
