Rome Targa 07/08

   5 of 5  (1 review)
Description
Rome’s flagship binding is aimed at riders who are looking for the perfect balance of support, control and comfort. Its unique customisable flex allows the rider to optimise the binding’s performance for whatever or however they want to ride. Again based around Rome’s underwrap baseplate design, the Targa delivers each and every time you need it to. A truly superb binding

Review Detail
I was finding my Burton Cartels painful, they were probably too big for me and I have never really been happy with them. I went into TSA looking for new bindings without any idea what I should go for and ended up coming out with a set of Rome Targa (and a new board and boots much to the disgust of my wife).

First thing to say about these binding is at first glance they look quite complicated to set up and if I am honest it took me a while to set up first time. However once you actually start riding you very quickly realise which bits need adjusting and this is super easy on the slope. The straps are very comfortable with loads of padding and the toe strap is a hybrid between a cap and a traditional strap and can be used as either. Unlike the Burton cap straps the Rome caps are very flexible and would fit any boot shape. I hated the high backs on my cartels which I found would to dig in and kill by the end of the day even after rotation. The Targa high back is more or less the same height as the cartel but has loads of padding and I had no problems riding all day. Very responsive. In summary I love these bindings they do everything you want and need.
