All i can say is this was a fantastic board for having fun on!

As already mentioned the board is flexy in the middle and very easy to manipulate over rails.

The stiffer tips make it great for manualling and giving it a lot of pop. It was also holding an edge on the mountain, and it was fantastic in the pow.

I was advised to get this over the darkstar as it is a more fun board with more pop, and it certainly lived up to it.

No problems what so ever at speed, on flats, or approaching kickers.

This review was based on it being twinned with the K2 Auto Binding (09/10) and ThirtyTwo Lashed Boots (06/07)

This is my first RC board and I certainly wont go back!
Strengths
Fun
Great All-Round
Good Pop
Weaknesses
Its flex means that at the end of the day on a moggle black its not that much at all as it is very difficult to find an edge and hold it - dont let it put you off though, just take the off piste option home!

k2 make some great boards and the 'parkstar' is just that. The Reverse camber (RC) version of the Darkstar really. Lively but not over snappy so its good for guys and gals getting into the park. Fairly forgiving through the centre so its easy to manipulate and turn and re balence with once you're on a rail/box.

The slightly stiffer nose and tail mean it holds an edge quite well for a RC board at speed but I would want to go too fast which might rule out bigger kickers.....how brave are you I don't know. The RC also means it will float a bit better in the pow without having to adjust bindings.

Great fun board, well priced and well made. 'Should' stand the test of a season!
