| Review Detail |
Got this helmet just before going to Zermatt for at the start of the season. I've actually got the Fuse Limited edition cos it was reduced from 170 quid to clear! The only difference between the Fuse and the Fuse Limited Edition is that there is some kind of "go faster" decal on it. It also comes with a pair of Tune-Up II's (super cool headphones) and a case to carry it in which the standard Fuse doesn't (though these are available extras). For the sake of this review, I'm just gauging the helmet.
Anyway, the reason I got it is that I suffer from getting hot easily. Therefore, whatever I'm doing (mountain biking, boarding) I need a helmet with ventilation. At the same time, on the chair lift or first thing in the morning when I'm cold, I don't want ventilation. The Thermostat control to vary the the vents takes care of this nicely and doesn't involve you having to take your gloves off.
In addition, the overall fit is really solid and comfortable (for my head at least). The helmet is nice and light so after a while, you barely notice it's there! I've got a pair of Arnette The Goggle goggles and they fit fine with no annoying gap between the top of the goggles and the helmet. I love it! |

| If it's snowing heavily while your out and you have the vents closed, the vents tend to collect the snow. Can be quite a shock when you get indoors and open the vents and it all falls through! |
