Review Detail
On the advice of the good people of this forum I retired my ancient malemutes and found these in the january sales.

I found them to be the best fit and the price seemed good. (turned out they should retail around £180)

The guy in the shop is not a snowboarder maybe that is why his prices are low

they are freestyle oriented but as is often the case they hold up well in the deep ish stuff too. I went fot the conservative brown over the multicoloured versions available.

after 10 days on the snow I am very happy, they were stiff enough to be responsive and solid so as not to distort in the binding when buttering or pressing the tail or nose.

the best bit was the lacing....
Strengths
ok they are light and comfy and warm
but for me the best bit is the SLR lacing system which means they are easy on easy off because you can instantly loosen them. the other major benefit of the SLR lacing is that you can tighten the top or bottom sections of the boot without taking your binding off.

this is probably the first time in my life that new technology has worked for me
Weaknesses
none so far
