I bought this board as a fun-time alternative to my K2 Zeppelin, which although an awesome board for shredding powder and steeps, has been biting me in the ass for any freestyle riding not 100% dialled in.
So I plumped for the Evo-r (155) after reading and hearing so many good things about it and the fact that I'm in Canada and can get it on the cheap.
Hats off, it is SO MUCH FUN. It's the perfect amount of flex for me (NOT a noodle, comes in around 4/10), it is just pure awesome. So far the board has handled everything I have thrown at it and is helping me progress into the freestyle side of boarding.I've taken it off all manner of natural features and has been forgiving enough to let me ride out all manner of drops, kickers, jibs. Slopestyle it is sweet for buttering and piste side jibbing, really nice and light and the rocker makes it super easy to press.
As a park board it is totally carvable too, I am keeping up perfectly fine with the longer directional guys in my teaching group and the board is very performant through all types of turning in all conditions.
I also got to hit some fresh with it yesterday too and for a 155, it just glides, the rocker and sharp nose/tail just float it - no submarining at all.
Construction wise, it's a tank, really bullet proof. It's been through and banged into a fair few trees and exposed rock already without any damage.
It makes me feel a bit sorry for the Zepp, because only the deepest, steepest of powder days are going to get it back out of my cupboard.
I really, really, really recommend the Evo-R for anyone wanting a twin rocker & cambered board for fun times. I'm sure an experienced freestyle rider will be able to get even more out of this board than me.

After riding a Burton Custom X for some time, especially on so. cal. slopes.... i finally wanted to try a R&C board to see how it felt. Rode an 09 NS EVO-R and was hooked on the soft forgiving flex and how easy it was to ride in the park. Decided to get one the following season... NO REGRETS! Dont get me wrong, not baggin on the custom X, but it is a very stiff board, rated at a 7 for stiffness compared to the EVO_R at 3 or 4... If you want fun times, hop around, forgiving board that lets you do almost anything... this can be the board for you. Dont just read this review, go out and try it for yourself!

forgiving flex, have not caught an edge, pretty darn fast for a 155 board... can actually keep up with the 160cm boards.

Weaknesses
I should have gotten a longer board. Got the 155. Not as confident as the longer boards on steeps, but this board was not meant for it anyways... Now the Burton Custom X stays hybernating till the pow comes out. NS EVO-R 75% and Custom X 25% of the season.
