Review Detail
Was going away for a week so I needed a bag to stach my new board in. Bought a Gig Bag all in black which looks pretty cool. Very sturdy bag affording good protection to my setup. No damage to any of the contents. Can fit quite a bit of stuff in it. I had board, boots, bindings, jacket, 2 pairs of board pants, tools, 5 pairs socks, goggles and supports in it.
Can be a little cummbersome when fully loaded and when I got back I was wishing I'd spent another £20 and picked up a bag with wheels.
Strengths
Great for the light traveller and gives great protection.
Weaknesses
No wheels
Difficult to carry if packed to the seams.

Review Detail
Well, I got this bag virtually free with my board and bindings. It seems well constructed - tough material, good seems etc. Hasn't got vast amounts of padding though. Looks - well its black with a Burton graffiti logo on.

Has loads of pockets for goggles, tools, boots etc, a comfortable handle and a decent shoulder strap. Also has skateboard carry straps. Hasn't been tested on an aircraft yet but I carried it with board and bindnings inside from Board-X to Waterloo via buses and tubes!

I have the 166 size which is a bit of a tight fit for my 164 board and large bindings. That said, I can also just squeeze my chunky size 12.5 boots into the boot compartment and there is still room in the nose and tail to stuff some clothing in to add a bit of padding.

For someone like me that only goes away once a year, but goes to dry slopes/snow domes quite often, I think this bag is ideal although I will be adding my own padding to my board edges before putting it on the plane!
Strengths
- Good construction
- Loads of pockets
- Comfortable straps/handles
- Light
- Suitable for just taking your board in the car
Weaknesses
- Would prefer more padding round the edges
- Could have a bit more room for wide boards & large bindings
- Not for regular travellers
