| Review Detail |
After umming and arring about different board for the past couple of seasons i finally decided to go for the legendary custom and oh my god was it the was it the right choice!! ive been boarding for 7 years now and until now had never bought my own brand new board. i was after something that was able to do it all.... off piste, piste and some park. this board is the one that i always came back to when looking around in the shops and so finally went for it after finding one in a sale at the end of feb 08. my first time out on the board was amazing. once i got used to the stiffness of a more advanced board it was great. the week i was away had varying conditions from hard packed and icey to extremely slushy to 18inches of powder o i definatly put it through its paces.... it coped with everything i could throw at it, never loses an edge on the hard stuff it just digs in and keeps going. it so fast which is great for getting over those flat bits and you feel a bit smug zooming past other boarders with on foot out walking along.... i had none of that. off piste was great, the nose kept itslef out of the powder its really light and was easy enough to turn on. i also ventured into the park, something i dont really do to often, it was great... loads of pop and was easy to spin on. and just as important as how it rides is that it looks amazing!! |
