Review Detail
Just spend a week in Tignes with the snow and white out condition. Whilst out there I spent 4 days with Alliance Snowboard School doing their Cruiser level class.
In a small group of 6 our instructor Simon was a bronzed brummy and a good bloke to boot which made things very easy.
Despite the conditions we were able to work on technique. Particularly stance, weight distribution, flex, foot peddling and steering. A lot of time we were learning to adapt our riding to compete with the condition this was refered to "survival riding" which was basically being able to ride the variable terrain whilst making it look good and easy (or at least easier)
The constant snowfall mean that we were able to spend quite a bit of time learning to ride powder and took on a few more riskier off piste runs. All of which was done with safety in mind.
I'd totally recommend using Alliance Snowboard School whether you are a beginner or advanced rider, young or old.

Strengths
I think the strebgth really have to be the enthusiasm that the guys at Alliance have for snowboarding and teaching people at all levels.
The price was good to compared with what you pay for tuition in England or at one of the "local" schools. |

Weaknesses
Couldn't find fault in the instruction, no matter what the weatther threw at us there was still stuff to learn.
