TUACA, the snowboarder’s drink of choice, has announced the winner of its nationwide competition to find the UK’s biggest snowboard enthusiast.
The TUACA Traveller has been named as Steve Besagni, a 29 year old boarder, from Whetstone, North London and has won a once in a lifetime trip across Europe to discover the best new boarding destinations.

Graphic designer Steve was selected from hundreds of entrants who had to submit either a written, video or photographic entry depicting why they are the ultimate boarder and should be the TUACA Traveller. Steve’s photography and passion for snowboarding shone through to win the prize which includes travelling to the undiscovered slopes across Poland, Czech Republic and Sweden. Steve will be setting off on to the first destination on Tuesday 19th January, keeping a video diary and recording his discoveries on daily blogs.

He said about his win: “I thought I was going to be sat in my grey London offices, instead, I’m setting off on the trip of a lifetime. I’m looking forward to riding under floodlights in Sweden, hitting the park in Slinderuv Mlyn and powder in Poland.”

Charlotte Ashburner, brand manager for TUACA at Brown-Forman, and on the judging panel comments: “There was such a high standard of entrants but Steve’s enthusiasm and passion for snowboarding made him stand out as this year’s TUACA Traveller.”
