that's interesting. I have a heel lift if I don't do them tight around the ankle, which can at times cut off the circulation. I am having them remoulded to my feet again as the problem was from the beginning, to see if it will help a little.
Still I think after this year I will be looking for a new pair. So we will see how my vans handle with my progression on the snow. |

well im just referring to the encores from that season. they were comfortable boots with nice flex even tho were a bit heavy, and the boa system was very handy although you miss out on the adjustability of laces or salomons lock system.
After trying out many pairs of boots after that salomons seem to be the top boot. really light and comfortable, the lacing system is awesome and their built to last from what i can see, a bit stiff atm for me but i just wear them a little looser |

I to have a pair of vans cirro, imo they are of good quality and just as good as any other boots on the market. My other boots consist of 32`s and judge boots made by dc.I would have to say that my dc judge boots have packed out far more than my vans cirro.
I think its all down to personal choice the same with bindings flows v strap v step ins.
Me personally,i love my cirros but hey thats just me |

Why do you advise against vans with boas. Mine have lasted three years, work well, I just tried them on in our workshop and they did up fine. I was a picture standing there in my boots on my board feeling the snow, pretty sad, but but human |

Hi,
Pick a brand you like, remember they pack out a lot, and some brands like Vans and Thirty Two's which I use, pack out more so from my experience, so make sure you get them fitted by an experienced boarder who knows boots, knows the manufacturers history. I got mine ftted in Canda and the guy there advised me to go half a size below what i would have normally gone for and after the initial moning of a little pain, feeling like I was bunched up, the afternoon and next two weeks were wonderful.
I even decided to invest in custom footbeds, which really work well and cinch your feet in good and proper.
I think it's a case of finding a brand you like and sticking with it and the successful companies stay in business because they design good products, Van's being one of them.

Imagine letting your kids loose with him for lessons what attitude? if boots fail in such a short period of usuage theyre bad quality, howq in anyway is this detrimental to my teaching ability, its totally unrelated, if youre reading into what im saying in some odd way whatever, but i dont see how anything ive said could warrant me having a 'bad attitude' |

Good job To be fair, the only issue I have ever heard with Vans was the one where Stuart's dial fell apart. Mini screwdriver and repalcement parts and it was fixed - job done. "I and 2 friends" mmkay
they were crap quality boots and in any brand if 3 pairs crap out within 4-6 weeks in a season without any out of the ordinary usage then theyre crap quality in my opinion |

Or crap friends.

I've used boas for 5 years and have never had a single problem and that's riding all season in them. We get load of guests with boas, on average probably about 3 or 4 pairs a week in the chalets, and in 5 seasons I've seen one pair fail due to the screw falling out the front. |

stuey, I have a pair of Cirros in black but they're a UK8, not an 8.5. They're not in a box but are unused (I think they we're just used for some product shots when the Vans team were here so haven't been ridden in).
Let me know if you're interested.
