Or try the McNab beginners clinic... I did it last year, by myself and it was really, really good... So much so I'm going back to do another one this year..

Not cheap I'm afraid, but it is 6 days intensive (I mean intensive - you'll be shattered at the end of each day!) tuition in Chamonix (plus a day in Italy usually), plus half board in a fairly typical hotel. There's usually more than one course running so you'll be eating and drinking with up to a dozen others, many travelling alone... plus Keith and Neil are legends...

The course titles and descriptions aren't always completely clear, so if you're interested, then I'd drop them a note for more info...

Or Cold Fusion, who are good for people traveling alone.

They've got a beginner's week:

I have been learning to snowboard at Xscape in Glasgow, however I want to do an intensive snowboarding course abroad. Can you suggest a location that would be best suited to a beginner? My other problem is that I am on my own and all the deals seem to be for minimum of 2 people. Any ideas?
Thanks
Jules
