Yeah, mine took about three weeks to get to me. It's been well worth it though. I can't wait til grand theft comes out on it.

It depends if he ordered it when they where instock and if theres a thing on the website saying usualy dispatched withing however many weeks.

I think it's Sony that are holding us up in getting anymore in to my store but the others must have some, or should be getting them in very soon.

I got mine in the second week after release, got totally hooked on Wipeout Pure and played it all the time, but the tournament was soon completed and it hasn't been picked up since
GTA: Libery City Stories is released on Friday though so that should put paid to that

The prospect of shelling out for memory isn't too appealing..
Is there any reason not to save £100ish and go for the Sony 1 & 2 GB sticks on eBay rather than from an official outlet?

yeah but there are so many different applications for if you're traveling or on the bus a lot. i just got one and I love it a just got the xcopy software at psptranfsfer.com It put the others I check out to shame.

i had a play on my mates PSP today. seem pretty good but not sure bout them yet. like exige said, dunno if i'd play on it that much. wouldn't ever play on it at home as would rather just turn the playstation2 on.

I pre-ordered 2 from Virgin about a week before launch hoping to capitolise on shortages thru ebay - they were both waiting for me all thru the weekend but ebay prices were pretty stagnent so I didn't bother. Just try else where - or ebay - it's always the obvious places that sell out (dixons & game) try HMV or other shops like that...

Had a play the other day and was pretty impressed, but I can't justify getting one for the 4 hours a year I might use it like every other hand held I ever owned
