You mean to find them? Or to actually do them? My tip would be to do them as you go along. I missed out all the gaps (and snowmen/tricks) until I'd completed the game and got rank number 1. By that point my board stats were waaaay too high for the gaps on the first level and it made it ten times harder. I literally over-jumped the gap every time for about 50 tries on one of them.

So basically, do them as you're going through the game, don't leave them to the end.
If you are coming up short on some of them, work on your stats.
If you are having difficulty with any of them, don't do grabs/spins.
