QUOTE (mea00csf - 03/07/2008 @ 13:03:49) I read somewhere that rose/red tints are very good for changeable conditions. Basically the eye can adjust quicker from short wavelengths to bright light than it could at long wavelengths. Which is apparently why under emergency conditions submarines use red light as should they need to surface quickly the crew would be able to adapt quicker to daylight than if they'd been using standard white light. I did only read that on a forum tho, so it could be rubbish, sounds impressive tho nah rose tints are great because they have create a hyper-parabolic sine wave as the light is refracted in front of your colour receptors in your eye therefore reacting with the non-glare from the sketchy light and meaning you can see through trees. No other lense does it. Therefore they are defo the best lense. |

Wow, that's interesteing, you wouldn't imagine it!
I think in b/w photography red increases contrast... so maybe that's a factor aswell!?

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what a rose lens with a chrome coated outer lens goggle is good for, are they general purpose? like the amber and yellow ones!?
Thanks... |
