I've got the escapades and love them! Don't fit my boots too well but i'm having a bit of a tiff with my boots at the moment so i'd rather just get new boots!
My escapades were a bigggg step up from my first ones-love them!! |

I tried some lexas and hated them, they felt really sloppy no matter how tight i tried to get them, that was the first year they put the capstrap on the womens bindings i believe and i don't think they got very good reviews generally. I personally don't like the burton capstrap, tho that could be because it doesn't fit well with my salomon boots, I now have salomon relays which i love (and will love even more once i get some new boots and can get rid of my trainer-esque old boots and won't have to cinch my bindings so tight ) HOWEVER if you've tried them and like them, they felt secure and comfortable, then they're right for you. As with most things boarding-wise, others peoples reviews and opinions are important but only until you've tried them for yourself, at which point they become pretty much irrelevant |

I've got Burton Escapades and they are great. Easy to adjust, comfortable, everything I could want. I demo'ed the Lexa too and found them pretty good, the Escapades fitted my boots better so I went for them instead.
If you are getting on fine with your Lexas then I would stick with them for now. Unless you have money to burn, save what you would have spent on new bindings and put it towards your next holiday, or a couple of lessons when you do go away. Good tuition is far more important if you are a noob!

Demoed the Lexas and didn't like them that much because they didn't fit my boots very well, otherwise they seemed fine though and my sister has a pair which she really likes. Can't see any reason why you'd want to change them unless you have a specific issue with them |

I had a pair of Lexa's and couldn't fault them great bindings. Just traded them in for some burton escapades the next season that matched my new board better Other than the convertible toe strap/cap strap, never really noticed much of a difference.
I have heard that the Salomon and Ride womens bindings are also very good - this comes from my team riders and friends. |

well i've got a set of Burton Lexa's and they seem absolutely fine to me but i am a noob so i guess i wouldnt be able to tell whether they're great/good/bad/rubbish....i bought them on shop recommendation, was told to get something mid to top end cos bindings aren't something u should need to replace often.
so what do u think? what other brands are there on the market that would make a good buy?
guys feel free to post too! |
