i think salomons usually tend to fit people with a medium to narrow foot. if you've got wider feet other brands might be a better bet, unless you get one of the special wide fitting ranges from them.
as far F series boots go, just get some dryzone gel sacs and fire them in. totally dry boots in hours. |

Like other posters have said you really have to go and try them on.
My girlfriend has Salomons and loves them. I have Vans and love them Amongst others, I did try on a couple of pairs of Salomons but they were too tight for me width wise and were pinching the sides of my feet (and don't think I have slightly wider than average feet as don't normally have trouble with shoes) |

| The F series can start to stink and are difficult to dry though because you can't remove the inner liner |

Here's another vote for F series Salomon boots.
After 2 seasons, I had to replace the laces on mine at the end of this year. No charge for the laces, but jesus christ it was a pain to do.
I also have to agree with Chorlton about the cold thing. I've never been one to suffer that badly but January in Lake Louise there were a couple of days when I really felt the cold in my toes. |

yeah im not a huge 32 fan. salamons for me. comfy straight out of the box. and the lacing cvant be beaten. the only thingis that the F series have the inner moulded to the outer which a) means no room for it to pack out therefore do not be tempted to buy small and b) they can get cold when it is properly baltic |

Avoid 32's. In their quest for lightness the build waulity is crap!

the ugly = vans encore boas,
complete sh*t, fell to peices after 4 weeks, and heavy as f*ck, although they were comfortable enough i suppose |

Ah well, yes, there is that. Still, helps draw attention away from the chavtastic gold bling on my bindings... |

| if you are looking the boa system look at the double boa on the Vans Cirro (if that fit your feet of course), great fitting boot but a word of caution ensure that when you buy them they are a snug fit, mine packed out after about 4 weeks use and are a bit on the sloppy side. |

My personal oppinion is soloman are the ugliest boots on the market but from what i hear fit better than most others.
Iv got a pair of 32 lashed that i love but next time think i will try on a few Boa's as they save so much time and no problem with wet laces that fall in puddles when you take them off |

I went from Salomon Ivy boots with about 10weeks use and Salomon Relay Elite bindings to brand new next years Salomon F20W. I will definetly be buying them when they're in the shops.
If i remember rightly i couldn't even come close to keeping up with the group i'd been boarding with all week on the first day i used them so my boyfriend stayed back with me for moral support. Second day i cracked it and was so much more confident, particularly at speed as i knew that i could push against the boots and they'd respond rather than folding at the ankle.
The difference might not be so marked for others, i could walk around in my old ones like trainers almost! |

| Really? Maybe I should give that a try... Which boots did you get then? And which bindings? |
