No offence if you're one of the very capable Method school teachers but Bansko is a sh*t hole and should be avoided. I'd recommend pretty much everywhere else I've been over Bulgaria
Food is actually not bad to be fair
Slopes are limited and busy
Some of the town is historic...the rest a dirty littered building site
The lifts are slow
The locals are miserable
It's generally disorganised
Don't waste your time...sorry but that's my honest opinion
Method!! move to a decent hill
Just to clarify Method are a VERY good school and the tuition is top notch...it's just Bansko that I hate

If u want unique / different , good food , good slopes , fun , etc etc , great historic town to try BANSKO , bulgaria :

hi, does anyone have any advise on where to book our next bording holiday for 09 season? and also when would be best time jan or march?We've been to andorra and wanted to try somewhere different in europe. i was looking at sauze d olyx but have read mixed reviews. the hotel was 546 for a week half board which someone said there are better places for around that price. HELP PLEASE I'M CONFUSED!!!
