The only way to mark as read, at Thread level is to click on the appropriate Forum from the homepage, then any threads within that forum that have unread threads will have an icon you can click on which will mark all posts within that thread, as read. You can't achieve that via the Latest Active Threads panel though, sorry.

Mark All Post's As Read does exactly what it say's on the tin- will do them all, not just the ones down the left in the latest threads section

Neil 77 - I wasn't sure if that buttom Marked every single new post as 'read' or only the ones I can see. I'll give it a go.

You can't do it per thread, but under your profile settings, you can select which forum's you want to see new post's for, etc

can you not press the 'mark all posts as read' button at the bottom? never tried it but the new ones may then start coming through.

Maybe this is just my browser (IE) but how can I see all the new threads on the left hand side of the Forum page without having to click onto threads I don't want to read so that they disappear from the list & allow other new posts to be viewed?

Does this make sense to anyone or am I having a moment?
