I've got another candidate for the blocking tool.
I don't need to shout about what qualifications I have got and haven't got, I know I'm good!

I've seen it done before on Motleyfool and also III, just wondered. It did make them slightly disjointed, but as on the whole those people that posted were just spamming anyway it wasn't a great hassle.

Hmm can see where you're coming from mate but would it not disjoint the threads a bit with replies to posts that are not visibile to you (cos they were posted by a 'blocked user')?

Yes, that was it... kind of, as well as wiithin the thread itself, having some sort of moderation to remove posts from those people you did not want to read. A bit like a blanket moderation on that userid.

'Blocking' posts? As in, don't log them as being 'unread' i.e. you still see the posts amongst the discussion but they are never highlighted blue/unread?

I know there's a way of blocking threads that I don't want to read, through the user account preferences section, but is there a way of blocking posts from specific users.

I think this would be a very useful enhancement.
