Jamie Currie is a true snowboards customer and not linked with the company in any way. He rides with two of our team members though in Norwich and got in touch though our myspace about buying a board, please see his comments for verifacation of this.

He was very happy with the board and we suggested he put a review on here after someone asked for a review of the courage since it would be unfair of us to ask one fo the team riders to do this( see the main true thread). Think he got the wrong end of the stick and posted on the forum as opposed to the review section.

Sorry to anyone that many have been confused by this, Jamie has not been paid and certainly doesn't work for the company. He is just a happy customer that wanted to tell everyone about his findings on the new board from an independant point of view.

Oh dear, my cynicism is contagious!

I'm sure such kind words about True are perfectly legit, after all, they do have a presence on here so there's no reason for them to pay people to spam!

NSC - Northeastern Snowboard Coalition, another forum. That's fishier than the True props.

Let's not go scaring another newbie off! If its all above board (which marketing never is), then we'll probably find out soon enough.

Hmmmmm, gotta say I'm pretty dubious myself. Doesn't sound like the kind of description somebody puts on their first post. It's too forced, and just happens to fit in every last detail of how they perform. Also the 'by jamie.....' bit at the end, what's with that?

It certainly seems very fishy, especially the bit about the board making dendix feel like snow

That has to be a marketing guy.. its a shame to see that from a company I thought had more sense...! They should know we all shun the guys who just come on here to market there product and only there product...

Likewise, welcome !
My cynical side thinks Ziggi is onto something thinking you might be working for True...
Glad to hear the board is cool, personally think the graphics are a bit dodge - 1996'ish, but hope with decent feedback they'll improve next year !

I read about true snowboards in white lines magazine and thought i like what i see and i had to get one, so i did i got it through on thursday the 7th december and took it straight to my slope for a hard core rail session with the NSC crew, I've never had a ride quite like it, the board was amazing from the get go, it was super responsive, and i felt like i was on snow even tho i was on dendex which is nuts, and its just got the perfect amount of flex, it works with you instead of holding you back, every trick seemed easyer and i felt like i didnt have to try as hard, plus the graphic is awesome. theres about 4 of us at trowse that have the board now and we all love them, we have are own little true team lol. any one out there looking for a new board that is just completely different to anything you have ever had before, check out true snowboards you wont regret it, i f*cking love this board.
