It was such a waste to close Tignes when the conditions were so good, best snow i had all season getting freshies on the glacier first week of may is ace!

There was a time it was open 365 days a year; they used to make a big thing of it. The Tignes glacier is my favourite though - the only one I know with decent bumps on it.

Austria: I didn't realize it either, although the lifts closed at the end of last weekend.

I was in Austria for the finish at Solden on May 4. There was some fresh over the last few days there which was nice, but it was mashed potatoes not what I'd call powder. Demos available from everyone from Burton to F2 (who went into liquidation last week). A mixture of sunshine and cloud; well the snow's got to come from somewhere.

Ok, so who made it out to Tignes for the last week of the season ?(I know the glacier is still open)

Its a shame the lifts had to close as there is still just so much snow out there.

We had glorious sunshine for the four days we had there and probably the best snow I have had in all my trips this year.

Sad to think that the season is now over but what a great way to finnish....roll on next season
