Hey mate,

It's been snowing quite a bit out in Tignes recently so the glacier should be in pretty good condtion when you get there!

To keep upto date with the state of the glacier take a look at the webcams www.tignes-spirit.com/webcams/

and for the weather forecast www.tignes-spirit.com/weather/

if you need any help with anything while you're out there drop us an email or check out our sitewww.tignes-spirit.com

There are quite a few threads on Tignes early season on here if you do a search.

Also look at http://www.Tignes.net for the terrain and lift situation.

Temprature wise..well know knows, take everything you can. It can be boiling hot but its also been known to dump in the middle of the summer. And it can get pretty windy up there, its very exposed.

It's heading for that time of year again so thought we would get some early riding in at Tignes on the Grand Motte Glacier.

We are going out on the 22 oct for 3 days, never been this early and wondered if anyone had been this time of year before?

What sort of temperature is it likely to be on the glacier, how many lifts run, how much terrain is there, how busy will it be?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Looking forward to a snowy winter

Thanks

Gyro
