i was never into smash tv personally, was one of those thig my circle of friends never got to at that time, but hey mario kart, wicked
i lent my mario kart to my mate in exchange for his starwing, then we stopped being mates, so hes got my dam mario kart. howver, i bought another copy recently, but now i can only find one of my snes controllers 
going back further, when i bought a snes, aged 11 or so, i figured nes was crap, so i gave it away to my mate, what an idiot i am, id kill to have it back.
thank god for emulation, one of the best old gamings ive had recently is mario 2 - mario madness, i love that game to death, from start t finish, its amazing.
hard to get nintendo roms sometimes, but they are out there, if u keep lookin.

one thing to finish, before i had a nes or anything, i had a gameboy, and after years of tetris play, i acheived:-
272 lines (which is beaten im sure by many)
*but*!!
620,000 points, gameboy teris
i have trawled the net, and i have never seen a score within 70,000 of that, so as far as i know, i have the best gameboy teris score in the world lol |

SNES Emulator I think is what you should be looking for.... and a couple of USB controllers, was round the mates house last night, thrashing through some battle mode courses, it ended 8 - 6 to Coops, after Coops took a 6 - 0 lead, I just couldn't get to grips with the smaller screen resolution......but a classic battle !!!! both of us, used to spend hours playing the SNES version, and this is just as good, plus he's got his pc hooked up to a wkd surround sound system,,!!!!! Ahhhhh another b Loody red shell, how does he do it???!!  |

You get a CD with everything you need on it - it literally has every SNES game ever released on it. There are about 14 versions of Streetfighter 2 ! It's my brother in law who has it - he's got that, a megadrive one and a Nintendo 64 one as well. Been filling up my iPod recently just sitting digitising CDs whilst playing all the classics under the sun.

Yep - I remember that fella ! Most of the bosses involved having a toilet break before embarking on a campaign against them........
Happy days.........
Was playing a few of the old SNES games recently on the PC converter thing you can get from ebay - Castlevania 4 was as good as it ever was.

| Absolutely insane! The only one I remember is the big head one (not sure if it was the final boss) I remember it taking at least 10 minutes to even get his armour to blow up! |

| I'd buy that for a dollar - Smash TV was class........took ages to finish though - there must have been about 150+ boards to get through ! |

Smash tv was ace! plus they brought it out on ps2 on a classics disc.
But the best way to p*ss your mate off....it's gotta be "altered beast" on the megadrive. Waiting for that last blue orb to turn you into a dragon and then getting to it just before your mate...classic! |

And for out-of-your-head sessioning...SSX, they were all fantastic when first released...
But, in my house, you won't get far without a love of PES and a hatred of all things FIFA!
