It's all a matter of how much you want to spend really mate. The glacier/high slopes would certainly be more fun, the runs will still be considerably longer, you'd be in a t-shirt getting your nice snow-tan (goggle lines are cool ) and even if the snow is a little slushy/porridge like later in the day it's all good anyway, as it's actually quite nice to board on as it's soft! They'd stop you by the early afternoon anyway, as it preserves the snow better.

I'd say if you have the budget, and the time to take off, then head out to the mountains. Morning lessons followed by afternoons lakeside (if there is one) you can't really go wrong

Kaprun would be perfect, stay in Zell Am See by the gorgeous lake there, board in the morning, then go for a swim in the lake in the afternoon!

Check these schools out for summer lessons.....

Revision #1 (Last edited: 12/04/2008 @ 01:39:27)
here's a question guy's

i have been trying to get time off to take boarding lessons for ages now, without much luck

now my time is starting to free up and the season is all but over

so what would be the best "Next Step"? (first step )

1) lessons in a Dome.
2) Lessons on a summer glacier.

iv'e heard people call the summer snow "Porridge", "Slush" etc........ does this mean its not ideal? would the dome be better for a beginner?? or would the mountain still be better regardless of what time of year it is??

your feedback would be very helpfull

Cheers
Andy.
