| All the download sites show individual folders. Is there not just one I can download and then run the .exe file? |

download the gimp - pretty useful stuff. basicly, you start with one jpg and keep adding layers until you have all the photos in their own layer. Then you play around with the colour balance in each layer until it all matches. Takes about 20 mins per stitch - a biot more if you want it big enough to print at A3+ |

I wouldn't say it takes ages. For my first one it took me about 30 minutes for my first one using Photoshop Elements(PS7 is at home )
1. Choose your background image carefully. You can't go back if you choose the wrong one, you will have to redo everything from scratch.
2. Use the lasso tool to roughly cut out each image.
2b. Copy to a "new" layer on the main image(the one with the background)
3. Set the transparency of the cutout image to 50% to help lining things up.
4. Repeat for each cutout
5. Once all the images are in there, you will need to fine tune the cutouts of each image, maybe using the wand( manually adding with Shift the elements you want to cut)
6. Repeat for all images, then flatten layers once finished. But only once you're sure, really sure you're finished.
Some points to note.
The camera needs to be in the same posiion, otherwise it's a mare to line everything up The time between each image needs to be sufficient so they don't overlap each other. That was the problem I had with thecartwheel shots. |

photoshop it but do it the easy way..
1.cut out all instances of your boarder
2.paste on the first image..
3. mess around with airbrushing in shadows from each image.. easy |

| I wouldn't worry about taking ages trying to stitch it all perfectly, because you're gonna have some colour variation anyway. We still what we need from the image. (ok maybe I would say thay because my stitching was shit) |

anyone recommend any software?
tried bodging it with a panorama maker program i have, but can't seem to get all the shots meshed properly!
could try photoshop, but that could be pretty labour intensive and i'm not that good with it anyway.
oh and whats' good for editing quicktime on a pc? |
