3 years, not as long as I thought, 2006 sounds a lot longer when you don't work it out

The site is about 5-10 mins from ipswich train station. Its just of off the A14 North of ipswich.

Some of the pictures look wicked...it should be awesome...only 3 years away!

Train is probably about 45mins from Liverpool St. to Ipswich station, from there to the snowdome though I've no idea. Dunno how long it would take by cay either, I've never been from London to Ipswich.

"DLA Architecture, based in Yorkshire, which will draw up the plans for the 350-acre site, was also responsible for giant architectural feats such as the Manchester Evening News Arena, Leeds and Colchester United Football Clubs, the Stade de Geneve in Switzerland and the Headingley Cricket Redevelopment, among others."

I like that bit. Sounds really interesting though. Anyone know how long it would take to reach from London?

I heard a bit on local radio this morning, work could start on the Ipswich snowdome by the end of this year, and be completed by August 06.

I managed to find these two articles from the East Anglian Daily Time's (the local paper for that area), the first is from yesterday (June 17), and second from June 2.
