Nooo it wasn't poop at all. I was up on both Saturday and Sunday.

Yes only the Ciste Fairway, Ptarmigan Bowl and Coire Cas are open, but that in itself is more than a snow dome could ever offer, and much cheaper too.

Get up there

No I don't ride in Scotland... I'm just too damn extreme to actually go riding at all.

Looking at the forecast on Winterhighland it looks like we will get some more snow from Wed onwards.

Angelic..if you're heading for the Gorm there's a couple of hire shops in Aviemore (North57 for one) or you could hire from the daylodge on the mountain, think it's a little more expensive mind.
If the conditions improve I'll be up there this weekend, might catch up with some of you

im really having trouble with what swear word starts in b and ends in y with that many letters in the middle?

Anyway - this could be a definate plan - a friend went up to Aviemore this weekend and was apparantly pretty poop but to be honest any sighting of snow and I'd be a happy kitty

There are snowsports available today at Cairngorm and at Nevis Range but the cover is very limited.

As you say at least you got out into the mountains for a day.
Its very mild again and there is no sport at Cairngorm today and Glenshee now states there is not enough snow for skiing/boarding.
Nevis Range looks like the only place for some action today but it will be very limited.
The better news is that it will get colder with the chance of snow again by midweek.
