cairngorm is probably your best bet in general, glenshee always seems to lose snow a lot faster than everywhere else?! or maybe thats just my take on it.
on the plus side. theres fresh snow on the mtns as i look out the window and snow is forecast tuesday/wednesday next week

Why not stay somewhere central, close to the A9, then do a different resort on each day? Pitlochry is nice and within an easy drive of Glenshee, Cairngorms, Glencoe and The Nevis Range. (I assume you'll be driving) Or stay in Perth even.
But don't book too far in advance, wait 'till you can check the forecasts for that weekend just incase.
Strong winds can play havoc with the Scottish resorts. The fanicular at Cairngorm is good when winds can close the chairs at other resorts.

Camping's cheap !!
There were a few tents dotted along the Cairngorm road sites on the weekend. Are you that brave.
We had a great time on Cairngorm on Saturday. But then I have not been boarding in Scotland before, so you will probably get other posts with better info than I can give you. Think it involves a fair bit of luck with the weather though.

Scotland - Where to go and where to stay?
07/02/2008 @ 18:51:04
I'm looking at having a weekend in Scotland as I won't be able to get away again this season! I was looking on the SkiScotland site and decided Glenshee looked the best (mainly due to snow conditions and havng the most lifts open).
Is this a good restort? or are there better ones?
Also any good accomodation ideas - the cheaper the better?
Any other general advice about boarding in Scotland - I'm a beginner/intermediate rider.
Thanks
