If it's been sat around for that long, get it waxed as the base is likely to be a bit dry.

hey
bought a new board which is last yrs - so been sittin in the shop for the last yr. tail edges are a tad rusty and bit of the base and top coat. have a feeling this will all come off after a few runs - just wanted to run past folks here if thats true...?? dont really wana get it tuned before even taking it out...
any thoughts / advice??
