Why don't you broaden your horizons and try a snow bike. Look at this: http://www.snowbike.us/

A stairmaster too stiff? It's as soft as Andy Pandy.

I personally find my Stairmaster to stiff, for a purely jib, soft board I would go for the artifact or a forum young blood.

decisions, decisions ay. i'm now drawn towards the captia 152 as its a short board but rides like a 156. not to fussed about it being able to handle high speeds as i'll use the custom x for that. Just need it to handle basic speeds on the piste etc

this years capita staimaster is now reduced to £199 link to chill snowboards

however I bought mine off these guys through an ebay auction earlier in the year - they have got one up again - keep an eye on this link

I'm similar stats and ride a 152w Stairmaster. It's great fun to ride, but if you want an all mountain board then look at the 156. The stairmaster does have a long effective edge so a 152 rides more like a 156 and a 156 more like a 159.

It would be easily soft enough to butter and use in the park. I guess i just looked at the graphics, and though how cool they looked. Bad me. But it means waiting till next season. This season's evil twin looks ok, and I've only ever heard good things about Bataleon boards. The Ride DH is mean to be a pretty solid park board too.

I ride a 153, but I'm 5'11" and about 9.5 stone so you'd perhaps want a 156.

what size artefact you riding. i'm 5ft 8 and around 12 stone. Gotta say the artefact is winning it slightly for me. Just want a fun board when i'm not using my custom x.
