Just to keep everyone updated, the new chair servicing the North Bowl will be in for the coming season.

I can't wait! It will open up some GREAT terrain, we cat boarded in that area last year - lots of glades.

Don't you mean Kevin Spacey?

Keeping on thread, I'd love to go here to pay homage to Craig Kelly.

'to flip' - love that phrase!..

always reminds me of The Usual Suspects.. Latino guy being questioned says back, threateningly, to the interrogator that 'I'll 'flip ya, I'll flip ya for real'..

Benicio Del Toro (great actor) don't think he was talking in a 'Homes under the hammer' context though Not unless Keyser Soze has changed occupations !!

if the money comes in they will build it right. but there is no guarantee, and from what ive heard a lot of these condos were bought by ski hill investors to flip, these are guys that buy property for a living, not build ski hills

Had a great Saturday at Revy. Sorry no new pics (I was too busy working on my tan!)

It was HOT! 20C at the day lodge. Lots of slush on the lower mountain but the upper slopes were still pretty good. I've had my fill for this year though! The weather was so nice that I really want to get on my bike now.

The slush cup was a lot of fun!

no expansion until they sell more condos! ...

Is this latest press release just blowing smoke then?

March 4, 2008, Revelstoke, B.C. Sales hit $35 million on March 1st for Revelstoke Mountain Resort’s release of the last phase of Nelsen Lodge condos. The resort’s final release of luxury resort condominiums, Nelsen Lodge Two comes one year after the first two Nelsen Lodge buildings sold out in just three hours in March 2007 and brings total sales to more than $100 million.

A couple of guides told me that there were plans for another chair as well for next year. Do you have info to the contrary jazzyj?

no expansion until they sell more condos! the yanks have no money to spend at the mo, so the town of revelstoke holds its breath until someone comes up with some money. what we are being told offically, only the gondola down to said condos will go in this year(2008)

You KNOW it makes sense!..

Best of both without the downside of either - high precip with cold enough temps.. and steep on top..
