Pooch hunter was indicating that any Bataleon board was good for buttering. The Enemy is a great board but way to stiff for buttering.

I,ve got the the Bataleon Enemy i think you would have to be about 30 stone to butter on that.

I also have an Enemy and think it to be an excelent board! however i'm so sure that it should be categoriszed as an ideal candedate for buttering allthough its not bad due to the fantastic triple base trickery making edge hang ups almost a thing of the past.

A board for buttering should be a bit softer without being limp that is. so my recomendation lies with either the society or the believer depending on your preference for pop. the Pop rods in the society give a nice feeling that you can spring out of any manouver whenever you want meaning you'll be able to hold those styled out looking presses for that little bit longer.whereas the believer has a nic progressive feeling to it. this means in my view that this will help to develop the fee you havel for whats going on underneath your feet and thus satisfaction that your able to reach the limits of what you are both capable of.

That said i'm sure that there are as many more boards out there which offer these kinda thrills as there will be people holding the view that this is the stick for you.

In any case i hope i have helped and most of all HAVE FUN !!!!
Jus one more run. I'll get it this time........

I found my Darkstar waaaay stiff for that kind of thing!

it didn't find the new dark star that stiff yeah it's stiffer that a full on jubbing board but you i found it a lot of fun for butters you can really load the tail and pop out of them. i guess it might kick your ass if you were a bit on the tired side.

i think if i was a full on jibby mc jib jib i'd probably go bananas!

extruded is easy to repair but its not worth repairing.

speed is good for a trick board you need speed for any good tricks

I thought extruded was supposed to be harder wearing and easier to repair, which I'd think you'd may be wanting to trade against speed for a trick board?

The OP was after stuff which didn't include speed...

Tech aside, people have been riding happily on extruded bases for ages.
Yes, sintered has surpassed that tech, but by no means is it "bad" tech. just old.

i just wouldnt touch an extruded base on any board.

sintered is faster and has a longer life on it than extruded.

Yet people are talking up the Evil Twin and it's extruded too.
Loads of boards are extruded. It's the best for jibbing boards.

Maybe if you're jibbing in the street and not on the mountain. I've yet to find a beat up sintered base I haven't been able to repair. For my money I'd rather have the extra speed.
