Oh yeah! I should have posted something up. Hehe!

I'm heading down to give my new board a bit of a slide and let my bro see what the place is like. If anyone is around pop down and say "Hi!" I'll be wearing one of my GB hoodies (either Blue/Grey or Orange/Brown) so give me a nudge if u see me.

Only ones I can answer for you are questions 3, 4 and 5:

3. Yes mate, if it is very busy the lifts can be a real bottleneck. Have seen 10 mins in extreme cases, though that was when it first opened.

4. Again, yes, but it's personal opinion on how busy is too busy. Not normally bad during weekdays when I try to go. Haven't actually been on a weekend eve, but someone else should be able to cover that for you.

5. There is music on, but it isn't hugely loud, so I only tend to notice it when I am on the poma.

Having said all that Daniele, you asked for possibilities, there are obviously better times to go there. The early morning (7.30) Wednesday slot is usually quiet.
It's not a mid-life crisis when you never made it to sensible in the first place !!

QUOTE (Danielé - 26/04/2008 @ 06:05:45)

Few questions about this place:

1. Do you get student discount with an NUS/University card? If so, what's the entrance price with this?

2. Can this discount be used on freestyle nights?

3. Do you ever have to queue more than 1/2 minutes to use the lifts?

4. Are the slopes ever that busy it takes away the enjoyment?

5. Is there music played on loudspeakers on the piste?

yeah, was a bit of a bonus am hoping this is the way it will be all summer.

they had high box at and a hump back box at the top, a rail and some kind of hipped kicker thing ( very small) then a low box a small kicker ( symetrical up down with about a foot wide flatish section on top) and a larger gapped kicker next to it, and a curved box at the bottom

Not sure if that is the same as they had on saturday, I assumed they just left most of it out

Managed to get my second visit to the dome last night, was good fun and pretty quiet ( did 8:45 - 10:15 ). I was pleased to see there was a load of park stuff out, I had expected them to only have stuff out on saturdays. Only managed to pick up the courage to do the low box and small kicker though.
