QUOTE (esd - 08/11/2008 @ 19:16:57) T.rice is to Travis Rice's own specs and has a slightly wider waist width if i remember correctly + different flex. Might be difficult to get these to demo in a fridge, TSA don't do Lib, but think they do have Signal park rocker The Signal Park Rocker is stupid soft. Not to be used outside the park. |

My mate took a bad one in La Plagne back in January right in front of me and one of his bindings broke at the heel and the other one ripped away from the baseplate but stayed strapped to his foot causing the board to come around and hit him just below the knee. He needed 8 staples in his leg and a minor operation to sort it.
The binding were salomon spx pro. Ive never ever ever seen both bindings come off in a fall before. |

not a broken board per se but my mate smashed a binding off his board when he crashed into my back edge first. He'd only bought the new kit that morning aswell!!! It think it was a Nitro board but can't remember the bindings. The fella in Cas board shop where he went back to said he'd never seen smashed binding like that before |

"Edges coming off? WWW I assume. Jib boards take a ridiculous amount of abuse. " no was a darkstar actualy.
as for gouges yes it is down to the rider to an extent but you cant argue that some boards dont take a hit better than others.
but just my opinion anyways. |

Bases being gouged has nothing to do with the quality of the board, it's the rider taking it over gravel.

ALL boards can break. Even Never Summer had 16 out of 20,000 warrantied last season. |

ive heard about many problems with both but more so about the k2 i know alot of people last season whos k2 boards died very quickly.
i know two people last season riding libs which de lammed but thats 2 people out of a fair few people.
i like how k2 boards ride but they dont seem to last from what ive seen.
QUOTE (Grill - 27/10/2008 @ 20:14:59) Is that a joke? Libs rocker is superior due to better edge control, but to say that their boards are more robust is silly. Lib has 10x the quality issues of K2. Being corporate does have its advantages.
