I don't seem to have the option to 'Import Movies' when I select the file to import it I get an error message:
The file could not be imported: The file “Macintosh HD/Users/alextaylor/Desktop/Dani and Niges Wedding.dvdproj” can’t be imported; QuickTime couldn’t parse it: -1409

You did try to use 'Import Movies' and select the DVD from the menu that appears?..

It wont import the file directly....I guess I'll have to do it manually. I kinda hoped there might be a sneaky short cut to save me doing something like that.

Not being an expert, or much of a novice, but can't you import it into iMovie and make a movie of them there (it automatically displays photos for 4 seconds as 'movie' but can be longer/shorter) and thence into host via 'Share' menu?..
If not then you'd have to manually sh*t photos from it or iPhoto into iMovie..
edit: typo!!! "...manually 'shift' photos..."

Quick question about IDVD
21/04/2008 @ 21:16:03
Hi
Does anyone know if there is a way to make a photographic dvd I have produced on IDVD into a single play film that I can host on a site like flickr or you tube??
Does that even make sense???....dunno? Its probably not possible but I can but try.
Cheers
