Incidents like that are just asking for a law suit.

It looks like they've got one of those for hire if you're after one.

Hi,

I wasn't making any comment on you personally as a rider, or how you actually operate, how can I. The comments were really about the crashes being on the promo video. No point doing this to death as it is all subjective in the end, but right or wrong, reckless or not, if you are getting reactions maybe those moments are better off the promo.

Or maybe it is funny, I'm becoming an old fart and it'll bring in the punters !! But that was just my initial perception.

Firstly I am a responsible rider, secondly Im not promoting that people ride like idiots, the video was just a montage of lots of different people that i have filmed over the past 9 years. Before we film we always have a brief asking everyone to be careful and to be aware of other people around them, but of course there will always be idiots. In 9 years, yep there has been a few crashes that have been caught on camera, no one has ever been badly injured to the point of being taken off the mountain. The video is just supposed to be a bit of fun.
As for the guy taking out the 2 people on the piste, that was a complete accident, if people wish to stop and chat on the mountain then they should do at the side of the piste not in the middle of the mountain.

Sorry guys, but I have to stand my ground:

No-one got hurt, yeah fair enough, but how much of that was luck. I'm sure the first words you guys said would not have been the most friendly if you have been taken out.

Don't intend to be snowboard police, but how can a company use footage of guys out of control taking out other people as promotional. Not counting the two skiers, what about the Spiderman who launches into someone. Hardly the right piste etiquette is it. I know they aren't the company's responsibility, I just think the video shows a lot of people out of control and not being aware of what's around them, which shouldn't be promoted.

I'm not saying I am perfect, but if I am going to mess around I do try to make sure no-one is likely to get swiped by me.

yup im with this guy, sure by all means have fun, but the riding in that video was just plain wreckless and dangerous. they were lucky they didnt take out more people than just them 2 skiers and even more lucky that they didnt come off anyworse in that collision.

The spiderman facial slam was highly amusing. The spiderman skier hitting the woman was plain reckless. Not heard of the phrase, 'look before you leap'? If he's hit someone in my group like that and god forbid a child, his poles would be snapped in half and his ski's chucked off the side of the mountain. Incidents like that are just asking for a law suit.

as long as nobody got hurt, thats the main thing. there must of been some injuries tho, some of those falls looked pretty hard!

am i right in thinking the idea behind the videos is that a group pay to dress up and get filmed, was that just one group of people from one holiday? its a great idea and its quite well produced really

Lighten up a bit guys, just a bunch of folk having a fun time. As for the rider taking out the skiers, that was just a genuine stack and they happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, the boarder wasn't doing anything untoward, just bloody unlucky.

As the bloke said, it's so people can get dressed up and have fun, nothing about it being professional riding.

the costumes were pretty horrible tbh and the ridin was frankly dangerous and inconsiderate, you even show someone completely taking out 2 other skiiers minding their own business.
