Don't think this will work - 200degC operating temperature is the same as the Dremmel one I bought, and that wasn't hot enough...

The BOSTIK gas powered glue gun did (i repeat) DID NOT work - it failed to reach sufficient temperatures for melting P-Tex - so its off back to the market today!!

I think our glue gun is going back to the shop today, as it unfortunately was unsuccessful!!

Bods resorted to the old fashioned method, and i now have a nicely p-texed base!

Ah..... I've yet to give it a go with P-tex in it - but I have just taken delivery of enough P-tex to keep me in business for several trips to scotland! so I'll have plenty to practice with(waste)

Off to give it a go tonight!!

See you friday!

Hah - great minds think alike I bought a Dremmel one the other day too, however I have since discovered that it's 190degC temperature is not hot enough to melt Ptex properly, hence the heating chamber is now blocked and the gun is shafted.... Bugger

Where can you get P-Tex sticks from online?

I tried sail and ski, but they have run out (should have know given bad start to winter!), and I prefer not to shop from Snow and Rock who even mark up Snowboard UK!

Thanks,
Matt

"but bear in mind you are only doing 1 specific job at a time with p-tex, you're not using it for multiple applications accross a large area"

You haven't seen the state of my boards after riding them throughout January
