Clear ptex should sort you out, but if you can see the core it might be worth taking it to your local to get properly fixed up.

Hiya folks, took a chunk out of my base at the weekend. It's about 2cm long by half a cm wide. Can see the core . I would like to get it reapaired in a pleasing to the eye kinda way. Problem is the base is a glowing lime green sort of colour. Is it possible to get different colours of p-tex? If so where can you buy it? Have also read a little about welding the base? What does that involve? All help appreciated.
