I bought one for this year. Great pics. Really easy to use. Can use gloves.

Zoom isnt that great but has loads of quick set up functions for your immediate needs.

An old bid in our chalets face was a picture when I dropped it in a jug of water for a photo

Good battery strength too.

Waterproof to 3m by the way. You have to make sure the seals are clear when you open and shut it (memory card and battery slots.). Bad if you seem thave ons of lose baccy bits rolling around in your pocket like me

Yes it was on the Gadget show, if you had seen what they done with it you really would'nt think it would work again. I think they finally killed it in a game of ice hockey, camera being the puck

They look good those, I want one. But can you operate it with your gloves on?

I also have the 770. It’s a good little compact and overall I'm happy with it.

I would say be very wary of taking it the water as in my opinion it is likely to ingress water. Not a problem if it’s still under guarantee but otherwise very costly and will right off the camera.

I've just bought on for £215 from Amazon which was the cheapest i could find...
My Sony T1 gave p the ghost but i feel i got my moneys worth from it.
It looks solid but the operations are a bit fisher price... It's got spot meter and exp comp which'll do for me though

The mju 770 is (meant to be) Water proof to 10m, Shock proof from 1.5m drop and freeze proof to -10c.... So no more taking the gloves off and un-zipping the jacket to dig out the camera...

I'll stick up a review when i'm back from France in a fortnights time...
